The Fire Department is happy to bring a Fire Engine and Firefighters to your business, school, or local event.  Simply fill out the form below to request a Fire Truck Visit.  Truck Visits are a great way to attract passer-bys, entertain the little ones, and share a safety message.  Children will have a chance to crawl through the back of the Fire Truck to see equipment and learn more about the Apparatus.  A minimum of 2 Firefighters or Educators will accompany the Fire Truck.

Have a youth group, scouting group, sports team, or organization that would like to come down and see one of the stations and all the equipment? The department can accommodate interested parties almost any time of day and delivers a prevention education program prior to the tour itself that is customized to ensure age appropriate materials.

One of the reasons the United States has the worst fire statistics in the world is the lack of fire safety education in the classroom. SBM prides itself in being able to deliver hundreds of classroom presentations each year.

These range from preschool to high school demonstrations and can last either a single class period or an entire school day.  The National Fire Protection Agency has developed two proven highly successful curriculums in "Learn Not to Burn" and "Risk Watch."

Jeff Lundquist is the contact for schools and works with conutless local teachers to implement this into the standards curriculum.
